Mike Hockensmith
PresidentMike Hockensmith is the President of The Hockensmith Agency. A long-time Scott County resident, Mike is a community leader. He is a three-term President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee. Mike is also a member of the Regional Board of Directors for Kentucky Bank, The Foundation Board for Bluegrass Community and Technical College and is a Past Chair of the Board of Trustees for the United Way of the Bluegrass. He currently serves as President of Scott County United. Mike's previous community service activities include service as the United Way's Fund Distribution and Campaign Chair, Co-Chair of Scott County's Vision 2020, Board Member of Bluegrass Tomorrow, youth sports and served as Board Chair for First Christian Church. Mike was named Georgetown Scott County Citizen of the Year in 2006. When Mike isn't busy serving his clients or the community, he enjoys sports and physical fitness activities. In 2012, Mike and his wife Debbie celebrated their 30-year anniversary of agency ownership. Mike purchased the Johnson Agency in 1982, which was the predecessor of The Hockensmith Agency, Inc. Since that time, Mike has also acquired three other agencies. Mike is a graduate of Georgetown High School and holds bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Kentucky. Mike and his wife Debbie are also the parents of two grown children.

Christian Hockensmith
Vice PresidentChristian began working in the insurance business in 1998 and serves Hockensmith clients as General Lines Agent focusing on Life & Health Insurance. She also manages the day to day agency operations. Christian grew up in Scott County and graduated from Scott County High School. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown College and Master of Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Christian is active in the community. She is a two term President of the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce. Christian is currently serving on the Legacy Council for the Markey Cancer Foundation and The Board of Directors for Scott County United. She is Past Board Chair for Leadership Central Kentucky, The Lexington Forum and The YMCA of Central Kentucky. She has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Bluegrass Community and Technical College Scott County. In 2001 Christian was the founding Chair of the Pink Tie Gala and served in that capacity for four years, and later served as Co-Chair of Lexington Race for the Cure. Christian is a 2002 Graduate of Leadership Scott County, a 2003 Graduate of Leadership Central Kentucky and a 2005 Graduate of Leadership Lexington. In 2012 Christian was named Georgetown Scott County Citizen of the Year. She received the Lexington Forum Spirit Award in 2004. Christian and her husband Neal love living in Central Kentucky. Christian is an avid runner and enjoys traveling and skiing as often as possible.

Gina Hudson
Personal Lines Agent/ManagerGina began her career in 1989 with The Hockensmith Agency. Gina grew up in Scott County and is a graduate of Scott County High School. Gina manages the day to day operations of the personal lines business unit. Clients value Gina's experience and excellent service. Gina is active with her church. She and her son live in Georgetown. When Gina catches a break from career and family, she enjoys reading and walking.

Commercial Lines AgentChad serves as a Property Casualty Agent focusing on Commercial Lines clients. Chad is a lifelong resident of Scott County and is a graduate of Georgetown College. Chad is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Scott County. Chad and his wife, Jamie, have two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family and working out and participating in sports activities.
